Lightning strikes twice for Australian winner of a $4.100.000 jackpot

Winning the lottery once is a miracle in itself, but when it happens for the second time – that’s when you know you’ve been born under the lucky star. That’s certainly the case of one fortunate man from Australia who scooped $4.100.000 almost two decades after collecting another impressive jackpot with his work buddies.

The winner, who decided to stay anonymous after claiming his amazing windfall, correctly guessed the main numbers 19, 22, 24, 25, 42 and 43 in Australia’s TattsLotto draw on September 8th. His wife checked the numbers the next day, and after she told him he hit the jackpot, the husband replied by saying “Oh right-o, sure thing love.” Part of the reason why he didn’t believe her at first was the fact he already won an impressive jackpot in the past.

“It’s actually the second time we we’ve won division one. The last time was probably about 20 years ago and we won as part of a syndicate, so we got a good amount but obviously not the amount we got this time!” said the lucky man.

Fortunate resident of Narre Warren South purchased his golden ticket at the Pines Shopping Centre. Despite the fact he now has $4.100.000 at his disposal, this man isn’t leaving his job any time soon, and he’ll use the money to help out his beloved family instead.

“I’ll probably set up a bit for the kids and the grandkids. We’ll find some good use for it. I’m sort of semi-retired, but I haven’t really thought about it. I’ll stay working until I die – I love my job!” said the cheerful winner.
