North Carolina woman uses her lucky numbers to win $1.000.0000

Many lotto enthusiasts spend years playing the same numbers, in hope they’ll eventually bring them luck. This strategy actually helped many people become instant millionaires and Linda Thomas is the latest addition to this fortunate group. She’s been using the same line of numbers for a long time, and her patience paid off when she netted a $1.000.0000 Powerball prize.

The fortunate North Carolina resident correctly guessed the five main numbers 13, 17, 25, 36 and 40, but missed the Power Ball 5 in the Powerball draw on March 3rd. Thomas has a habit of buying lottery tickets on weekly basis and always using the same combination.

“I like playing draw games like Powerball. So when I heard them talking about a $1.000.000 win on Sunday, I thought, ‘Good for them.’ And honestly just didn’t think anything of it,” recalled the fortunate woman, who works as quality control supervisor at a medical supply company.

She purchased the ticket at Earp's Store located on Cambridge Commons Drive in her hometown of Charlotte and couldn’t believe her eyes after finally checking her numbers

“I always circle any numbers I match. So I circled the first number, then the next number, and it just kept going! I knew I had matched five numbers, but I didn’t know how much I had won,” explained this Charlotte resident, and added she’ll use some of the money to buy a new car.

Thomas was only one number away from snatching the Powerball jackpot, which currently amounts to $445.000.000. Stay succeeding where she failed in the next Powerball draw and this astounding prize could end up in your hands!
