As the name suggests, the Monday and Wednesday Lotto is drawn every Monday and Wednesday at 7:30pm local time, separating it from lotteries like the Saturday TattsLotto, which is drawn every Saturday (it seems The Lott are very literal when it comes to naming their lotteries).
The format of the Monday and Wednesday Lotto is actually the same as the Saturday lottery in that there are a total of 8 balls, but only 6 of these are classed as “Winning Numbers” and are needed to secure the jackpot. The other two balls selected by the player come into play for additional prize tiers, but unlike the EuroMillions they are not needed to scoop the grand prize.
